For 30mins our internal authentication service was operating with degraded performance. Approximately 2% of requests within ScriptRunner for Jira Cloud, ScriptRunner for Confluence Cloud and Enhanced Search services failed to authenticate, leading to failed script executions, failures when saving or updating scripts and/or failed Enhanced Search searches. The authentication service automatically scaled up to handle the performance degredation and the situation was resolved. We'll implement improved retry mechanisms to mitigate this problem in the future.
